How close to the uca does the tyre sit guys with a +30 offset ?

Shouldn't be any worse than 265/65, depending on variations between brands. Might even be a little better than the standard 265/65. Rear of the wheel well will be more of an issue.

Yeah I've got a 08 SR but atm I'm running 265/65/17 and these isn't much room but hopefully the bf ko2 gives me enough rooms in 265/70/17

I have KO2s and the three or four sizes that I have looked at, mounted, all appear to be narrower than some brands in the cross section. Visual guesstimate for most - actual measurement for one after I noticed. They all seem to stand up pretty straight, which may (or may not) be contributed to by the cross section width.

This is not a bad thing, particularly in your circumstances.

I installed 265/70/17 on my 2022 Hilux. I also installed an OME lift and the OME UCA. My wheels are ETA0. No rubbing or anything during normal use. But as soon as I climbed a curb the tire rubbed on my crash bar.
