I put a wanted ad on gumtree chasing fj cruiser rims. Ended up getting 5 rims for 500 bucks.
Rims were like brand new, only done a couple thousand Ks

Hey guys I've a 2" lift with 265/70/17 Cooper st maxx, looking at a set of these rims as with the factory Sr5 rims it's a flies dick away from the uca, which are +30, the fj are +15 so I'm hopping the tyre will clear the uca, can any one confirm this for me.

I have FJ rims with BF KM2's 265/75/17 and no worries at all - fits all round guards etc as well. Just costs me 1ltr/100km extra to run them and a little less power

should try fit 285/70/17 bfg muddies, sitting on around 13L/100km with stock gears, hopefully goes down to 11-12L/100km with 4.1 ratios, i scrub on the body mount, castor adjustment with the wheel alignment hopefully fixes this..

I was running FJ rims 265/70/17 for the last 30 thousand klms and last week I purchased some stockies to go back to the origanal size 265/65/17 and I must say the fuel improvment is massive at 100 klms it sits on 7.8 ltr on the scan gauge with the fj rims and the bigger tyres it was average of 12 to 13 . So be prepared for a thirsty ride , I now use the fj rims as my off road tyres and the stockies as an every day use , Iam have tried variuos combos along the way ..

I ran the std fj tyres and rims for 10kkm and it made no difference to the fuel from bf ats on the sr5 rims even though they were slightly bigger. Changed to the km2 and fuel went up 1-2ltr per 100.

km2's suck the diesel, i was running 9-10l per 100km on 31s then change to 33 km2s and average 13l per 100km
