Hi, I have a 2007 hilux sr5. Thinking of purchasing a set of 32x11.5x15 bfg a/t on a 1995 sr5 rim? Will these fit ok or not, I have a 3 inch lift so I should be sweet for size I think but cant work out the whole offset thing. Cant afford to go and buy brand new and these are a good price from a friend, I can drive over but its a 2 hr trip to check and if they dont fit ive wasted half a day. Any help much appreciated

i dont know for sure, but i would imagine a 1995 sr5 rim would be a 5 stud pattern?

i was wrong anyway, either model is a 6x139.7 pattern. he needs to work out what the offset is so we can figure out if they will work for you with no troubles

Just get your mate to put the outside face down on a flat surface, get a straight edge and a tape or ruler. Then measure from bolt up face to sidewall and from bolt up face to rim flange, not extreme edge of rim.

Do the same measurements on yours and you can easily work out if they will clear your suspension.

So I am takibg it the standard 2007 hilux sr5 15inch alloy is +10, these other ones are +8 providing measured correctly. Should these be ok. Surely 2mm couldbt make much difference

Background to why i ask, currently running factory 15inch SR5 alloy rims with 31x10.5 cooper AT/3's ... they've been great and are barely 50% worn after 60k.

however i want to put some fresh rubber on, 32's (probably ST MAXX coopers) and I'm toying whether I want to get new rims aswell with a wider (negative , away from vehicle) offset.

I've always thought the stance of stock offset was a bit narrow (and i feel it a fair bit when following beach ruts that are definately wider) ... but is there any benefit I'm overlooking with regard to the narrower stance?

Sorry if this has been discussed, I did a search but couldn't find answer.

I do love the look of the stock alloys and loathe to throw money away just for aesthetics (well except on women), but the stance has often made me think she's roll-happy.
Also wondering if 32x10.5 will even fit on an 0 (stock) offset 15 inch rim.

its all about deeper dish and looks for my selection to go 0 offset, they havent been on long enough to find any negatives, theres 1 photo in shed.

maybe i should stick with stock alloys and get 32x10.5's to go onto them.

I recall the tyre guy saying something about 32's on SR5 alloys would be "rare" and had recommended i get a 16 inch rim.

But then he's probably spotted me a coming.

no 0 offset isnt stock, 0 offset puts your wheel track wider and gives deeper dish

32 on 15 isnt easy as most are 32 x11.5 .yes probley better to go 16s

I was going with what Mr Cranky said - not sure if there's actual performance benefits, but the deeper dish is what had me interested.

they where an old set that where 31x 10.5 x 15 mickys but still looked ok.
