Brand: Goodyear

Type: Wrangler Duratrac

Size: 265/75 r16

Rims: Dynamic 16x7

Excellent tyre, more agressive than most all terrains but still quiet on the black top. Good in sand and mud, seem fairly chip resistant, did a trip across simpson and through high country on rough tracks. Done around 30,000 now and seem to be wearing well. Definately recommend them!

yeah mate i just scored some today 95% tread if not more basically brand new, i got them for $150ea $600 for the 4. got some black sunraysias coming, thought i couldnt go wrong at that price, the owner was just desperate for the dough and selling his ute and figured he would be better of selling them separate and putting his old ones on his ute, cant wait to get them fitted and get amongst the different terrains, ive heard alot of positives about them.

WEAR, PERFORMANCE ON and OFF ROAD: Performance excellent on and off road. Not too much houl, got about 8,000kms on them now with hardly any wear. Great in the mud they throw it everywhere, excellent on rocks and great on the beach. They have to be let down on the sand as they dig down if you dont. very gripy on road.

Fitting: Well theres your problem lol due to the -12 offset and the width of the tyre lots of trimming was needed. The front mudflap was removed and made new ones, the plastic inner guard was heated pushed back and cut and the body mount was cut back at an angle and a new plate welded on.

Drew do you reckon these tyres would scrub bad with 265/65/16? as i am looking at getting a set of the DC2s

BRAND. Toyo Open Country Mud Terrain

TYRE SIZE. 265/75/R16

SUSPENSION. 2" Tough Dog Adjustables

RIM. 16x7 +30 Offset ROH Sunraysia

No Rubbing or Trimming needed- nice fit and good to see that space being used instead of the tiny Highway tyres.

Only recently put on the car but very happy with them- quiet on the road for a mud tyre and has a nice aggressive tread.

So I have been reading over this whole forum and my mind changes with every post. I see a lot of people who run 265/75r16 use a +20 offset but the bloke at the local tyre place insisted that I would need a +30 offset. I have a 2011 lux with a 2 inch lift and want to run the 265/75's so I just want to know what offset to use so that I don't have to do and body "landscaping" and without them sticking outside the flares too much. Not enough for the boys in blue to notice anyway. Any help would be great! Thanks

They do just but you can use side bars on the front and if you have a tray its not really noticable on the rear. That or use can get a bushmans flare and fit to the underside of your flare. But at -40 your going to need a 2 inch lift even if your running 265s (for off roading)
I ran a -40 rim with 265s with flares and never had any problems with authorities
this is a -40 265 75 16 muddy

Hey mate i run -48 and they stick out 5" from factory sr5 flares also depends on tyre width too. I am running 15" wide. So a 12.5 width or narrower tyre would stick out mayb 2" beyond the flare. Nothing flexi flares cant cover. Cheers

Hey guys,
just looking at getting my november 2011 SR Hilux some new wheels.
The setup I'm looking at is CSA Stampede RV 16x8, 0 offset and have a 265/70R16 tire.
It only has stock suspension. I have flares fitted. Just wondering if any one is running a setup like this, and wanting to know if they rub at all?? :?
Is it possible to go with even a wider tyre like a 275 or 285/70R16, without rubbing??
Cheers with the help in advance :D

hey mate, the rims are fine but a 265/70r16 is the biggest that you can go without a lift. otherwise the tyres will rub on the guards under load and turning. hope that helps

I have stuffed one thou. it randomly went flat at 80kmph and heated up the sidewall so now it has air bubbles in the side wall. funny thing is I pumped it back up again and it is holding the same pressure.
