Need something to get you rolling?

Threads merged.

Sharpie,

You are running 33" tyres on a 2" lift, it can be done but will always be a challenge.

What offset are your rims?

Have a read of a few posts in this thread as it's the holly grail of making 33" tyres fit.
Cheers Rod

What type of rims and serial numbers ?

What other mods did you do, go the 33"s to fit and not rub ?

Fitted 33's (285-75-16) to my ute over the weekend. Only needed minor cutting to the inner plastic guards and missed the body mounts just.

Thats what I like to hear! I have 265 75 16 on a +20 rim atm and i have quite a fair bit of room between tyre and bodymount. Looking to go your size in a year probably. What offset have you got? Cheers, Kieran

Hi Kieran, they are 0 offset. You will be surprised, I went from your exact tyre combo to this one and it's a very tight squeeze. On the up side, it drives much the same as the 265 combo

Shezza,

It's closer to 3 inches of lift. Currently running the cal off-road 2-3 inch adjustable bilsteins coil overs and bilsteins In the back with ultimate suspension 2 inch comfort leaves.

Mines a 2 inch lift OME, 0 offset 16x8 with 285/75r16

It nearly touches body mount, it will however touch if full lock and on ccompresion im getting a amada 4 inch lift with remote ressis soon as well as diff regear

I use to have 265/75r16 before on +28 16x7

With 3"-4" lift kit does everyone have a engineers certificate off approval for the extra lift, or just installing it anyway?
