16" Steel Rims for 2014 Lux

Hi guys,

I've read so made posts about rim sizes my head is spinning
I want to run 265/75/16s on my 2014 Hilux and was told from the bloke at the tyre shop 16s wont fit because of the upgraded brakes. But I was just reading through a post and someone suggested King Terras.
So I had a chat with the bloke at Kings and he said they defiantly fit. But I got a bit confused when he was talking widths and offsets He suggested 16 x 7 with a +20 offset or a 16 x 8 with a +25 offset (which he said could possibly rub on full lock)
I don't want them to rub, but I want 8 inch rims, what offset could I run so they wont rub but will fill the guards nicely??
Its an SR model but I will be fitting 40mm flares, also a 2 inch lift (before new tyres and rims).

Will I have to settle for 7 inch rims or is there a way to get the 8s to fit nicely and not rub?

With a 2" lift you can even go to 10" rim.I put in mine 16×10 with -10 offset with a minor trimming at the front flares

I've got a set of gu rims. 16x8 +10 offset. They'll fit. Freshly sand blasted prepped and powdered satin black long way from u though

I run 16x8 gu rims with 275/70/16 or 265/75/16, both perfect fit and much better quality than any aftermarket steel rims. Never had a balance problem since fitting them.
