Hi All.
Please find above a general forum dirctory that will navigate you to areas of the forum that may answer your question if the search function doesnt quite bring up a clear answer for you. These are general lines of discussion that cover most of the topics related to the hilux.
We will be adding more topics over time.
Regards
The moderator team.

One question,

Does any body have a copie of what to do when servicing a d4d 2.5 hilux?
I know all about the oilchnages, but what else to do, when to look at what.

I have not found any useful documents yet of what to do when.
One pssibility is to let a dealer do the job, but thats not my style!

You would be better served to start a thread mate.

But it should say it all in your Service Log Book, if you don't have one, perhaps hit up the dealer about a replacement.

I know my ansver is out there! but where!

I got a manual, but in my opinion, it sucks! it dosent say what i want...

Greetings all,
I have had a quick look in the search engine & come up stumps on tuning options for the V6. Is aftermarket computers the only way to go here ?
Any info would be great as I have My TRD lux with K&N & modified exhaust from stock cats to custom Y pipe to 3" high flow muffler & tail pipe excluding headers.
It runs quite rich which is good for engine protection yet heavy on the fuel pocket.
Thanks

I'm no expert mate, but my general rule of thumb is every 5000km's
1-If it has a filter: change it
2-If it requires fluids to do its job: change them
3-If it has a nipple: grease it
4-If it moves: inspect
5-If it looks warn: replace it
6-If you have a miss's: don't in any circumstances do number 3...you WILL end up in the emergency department with a grease gun somewhere you don't want it

Question for the mods,

Whats with the new posts page.

It seems to refresh randomly, or does it?

If there is a pattern to it could you please share it with us.

It is frustrating when you put up a new post to ask for help with something and the page refreshes less than 30 minutes after you post it which rather limits the chances of someone seeing it that might be able to help you.

It only refreshes for you. Anybody else that's that comes on will still see it as a new post even its its 3 pages long.

I've just come back from a couple of days wheelin and my "new posts" page is 3 pages long, generally it's only around half a page. Once I clear through them all it will shorten up again.

Yeah sort of, not forever though. You can press the "Home" button and the under the Search bar there are 3 links in smallish print that say

"view unanswered posts" - "view new posts" - "view active topics"

if you press on these they do just as they say. :D

Help request.
This may be some sort of record. I wrote a bit of info about myself and carelessly hit the 'Draft' button.
Please (with very simple directions) tell me how to recover the Draft I believe is in Introductions Forum'
I need to transfer this post to the open Introductions Forum.

Thank you.

Hi Tomaz, hoping this helps you.

Go to "user control panel" which is just under the home button at the top left of the forum

On the overview tab, select "manage drafts" which is the 4th one down on the left hand side.

You should now see a list of your draft messages.

The second column near the centre of the page is titled "saved at"

In this column click on "load draft" for the message you wish to post.

Make any edits you need if any and select "submit" which is just below the message.

Hope that helps.
Cheers Rod
