these would only last a couple of days in the bush on a range here in Aus.But i guess at least i would have a radio and blueteeth unlike the G wagons

They are completely stripped and 'reassembled' because they usually do not make it back from a mission.
It is my understanding this is how remapping, high pref. tuning etc. originally started with diesel mech. leaving the service and taking their knowledge to civy street.
