Hi,

I’m looking at upgrading my 13 model extra cab to a dual cab but have just seen the new upgraded model (facelift) just wondering if anyone knows if anything else has changed on theses compared to the last model. Will be deciding between an SR or SR5.

Thanks

no idea on whats different with the new ones aside from a dpf button, have also seen a pic comparing its likeness to the LDV https://www.carsguide.com.au/car-news/2 ... ober-53764 - think the comparison pic is somewhere on facebook

as far as sr vs sr5
the keyless entry is probably my fav in the sr5... the car key/fob thingy is a bit bigger, but you never need to get it out of your pocket

Just took delivery of the upgraded front end 2018 version. My neighbour is the service manager at my local Toyota and "says" that the DPF is a whole new exhaust system from the previous version as well as the addition of the manual DPF button. But I can't confirm or deny that for sure. I did, however, park it up next my mates wifes 2017 model to check the front end variation and as far as we can tell its just the grille and bottom bumper that has changed. Other than that, same same. Time will tell on the DPF system "upgrade" though. I've only just done 1500kms

In some parts of the world you can buy a kit, where you can clearly see what parts are different:

Is it only me, or the new front grill looks like the Great Wall's Steed 6?
