Purchasing a Hilux

Postby Marianne on Wed, 04 May 2016 5:25 +0000

Hi Guys
I am looking at the Dual cabin auto diesel to tow a weight of 3000kg ( fully loaded) max..
Does the truck have good turning control
Do I need to make additional changes to the vehicle
Am aware that vehicle must have break system put in
Maybe stabilizer towing bars
But is there anything else for sealed road towing
Freedom On the road

If you towing on long weekends hilux is fine
If towing round Australia I second a 79 series

What's legal and what's gonna do it day in day are too different things
farting is alot like jxxxxxg off. both provide instant gratification, but neither is a long term solution to the actual problem......................

Check you GCM figures, depending what load/passengers you put in the Hilux you might not be able to tow 3T.
