Can some one explain to me please why you would want to reduce rime size?

Ok, National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Modification is the source... The rest is all shit talk. What would I know, Im just an Engineer. Go find out for yourself... Not knowing why you would want smaller rim sizes says it all.

Spot on Max...I think droop is what keeps the tyre in contact with terra firma in the roughest of spots... More contact = more traction. Hell, if you know where you place your front wheels, you can get your sump over most obstacles, picking the line is the key.

My Kun26 runs 33s on 16" rims... I have a spot at Willowglen that I tried out as I upgraded. Couldnt get up there standard, had trouble with 31" ATs, full Rekon at 4" extra droop and it had no issues... Then dual e lockers and 33" muddies makes it a walk in the park.

Do these new trucks take 33s without stupid caster angles and rubbing? I like my 33s but I had to change ratios to 3.9s to get my low range back... Unsure if it's worth it in these new trucks.

Just about to order an Auto SR5... Anybody give me some advice on 33s fitment?

There was a shortage back in December last year when I went to purchase my 697's. Bob Jane had purchased a tonne of stock to fit out Downer's Rangers. Was going to be a 4 week wait until stock was on the shelves.

I did find out by asking here in regards to the reduced rim size and I'll still stand by my comment on engineers.

I also found out by asking tyre dealers here in town regarding the legalities associated with reducing the rim size outside of the standard issue and I still stand by my comment on engineers.

Just put a deposit down on a Graphite SR5 Auto... Leather and aftermarket sunroof, tint etc... Then Rhino bar, winch, Rekon and look at more 33s ... Wish the US $ was better.

Hey any one know how to change the sensitivity on the auto lights, I've got a SR5 and the bloody lights turn on and off approx 5 or 6 times on way to work (15km) at 7am, every time I drive through a shadow on they go, I've had some strange looks from other drivers, they are bloody bright as well.

From my knowledge can only be done by a dealer with their toyota computer

Hi RAZ67 You have got me worried, I will explain, I currently have a 2012 SR5 dual cab it does have auto headlights but on the steering wheel stick switch positions are 1-off, 2--parkers, 3--headlights, & 4-- auto headlights, with a sensor that looks like a little black marble embedded into the dash. I tried it a couple of times but decided it was only a gimmick so I never use position 4, so me the driver decides when I need headlights & turn them on to position 3. I will soon take delivery of a new 2.8 SR5 I am hoping you are not going to tell me there is no option for driver to choose when to turn on headlights in this new model that would NOT be good :o .CHEERS.

You can just keep them on all the time! they turn off once you open the door after the car has been switched off.

Nudge bar powder coated and ARB LED's fitted.

They'll be coming off later next month hopefully when the Rhino 3D Evolution front bar shows up.

I had the 32's but because of their weight on the nudge bar and the bar not being a very solid mount I sold them and got the 21's.

(Easiest way to tell is by counting the number of LEDs)
