Aftermarket suspension is the go.
Always factor this expense in when buying a Toyota 4wd.

Was surprised to hear from the dealers that the Fiji market will be getting the new bodies with the old 2.5l and 3.0l D4D engines not the new GD engines. That is a f@#ing bull$h!t call and a slap in the face to the consumer! We are going to pay over AUD $40-50 for a new body with an old engine. Me and my cousin walked out of there in disgust. Was glad I picked up my 3.0l Hilux in January this year. My cousin just bought himself a 3.2l Mazda BT50 Pro, both of us were keen Hilux owners. Previously I had a 6th Gen 2.8l LN166 and he had the same followed by a 7th Gen SR5. Toyota dropped the ball big time on this one

18" offset is +34.
American Racing ATX Slots in 18" are only available in -24 so, is there any way around the difference or am I going to have to look at other brands of rims?
Pete'90 wrote:Roo, no offence but why the complaining about the price. You look at any decent manufacturer with a popular car or 4wd now. Nothing is under 55-60k drive away for a top of the line variant.
I for one, love the new hilux. I was even offered $35000 trade in for my 2010 my11 sr5 dual cab. Extremely impressed with that offer. I may still take it yet. Heading back for a test drive tomorrow at my local dealer.
