I was all set to buy a new one but after reading all the reviews I am not so sure as it appears they are slow
and thirsty especially the auto.I think the aftermarket chip makers are going to sell heaps of them.
I found the dealer price was better than what was advertised on the net.
I purchase a new SR5 auto, and took delivery approx 2 weeks ago. So far I have found the vehicle to perform very well and have not found it to be slow. Having said that my previous vehicle was a 150 series Prado. Fuel economy companies more than favorably to the Prado currently averting 8.6 l/100 Kms. The motors is very new so I would expect this to get even better

Dropped it off at another tyre dealer for another alignment and balance today (significant veering to the left, steering wheel off centre and some vibration).
Dealer called me soon after to say they were alarmed on taking the ute for a test drive. Jacked up the ute to find all four tyres badly out of round. Just clocked up 3500km on them.

We're the tyres replaced under warranty, if so are the new ones any better?

Going back to the dealer who fitted them this week. Will find out more then.
