Hey Ryan
Your rig looks awesome mate
When the last model come out in 2005, the same was said how ugly they look
If I remember correctly, quote " they look like a mad woman having a sh#+" unquote
Or was that about the triton?????????

Thanks bud! Less is more. It's amazing what some wheels and tyres do. I've had and driven a lot of cars, but this thing is truly my favourite!

Mutto, good on ya mate! What did you get!?

White SR cab chassis mate. Toyota ally tray, bar and snorkel and tinting. Been screwed around by the dealer a bit. Was supposed to be ready Monday morning, but will be be good when I actually jump behind the wheel.

How r you guys finding the factory bullbar? Got one on my hoist at work with a factory bar and I can see why they bothered, made by the cheapest they could find (Ironman I believe). Already heard of a few around been bent by as little as a bird strike! Are they charging ya much for them?

I believe ARB are making the factory bars to Toyota specs. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure.

Is anyone having trouble with the Toyota fitted hard tonneau lid leaking. Mine seemed to be ok but travelling down the northern rivers district over the last couple of days with very heavy rain I have it leaking on the LHS.

I found this article (http://www.motoring.com.au/aussie-firms ... eal-51972/) regarding the hilux bullbars. Apparently made by Abcor. I guess time will tell with these bars. I got mine pretty much for nothing but will put an arb summit bar on if it causes me too many dramas. Biggest problem is fitting driving lights due to the shallowness of the bar.

That would be leaking through the Sports Bar insertion of the cover

Not hard to take the bar off, just jump inside the tub and look for the LARGE grub screws. Each leg of the bar has only one screw. Don't touch the other screws as they're for adjustment.

Once you get the bar off you can then decide how your going to seal it, plenty of room to work with.

nice, I got the same exact one..har har. Hasn't looked that clean since I first got it, hence why i went for the silver sky. it always looks clean or dirty, which ever way you want to look at it. Mate with a pearl white one is always cleaning his. Not saying I don't take care of it, it get's a fortnightly clean rather than a weekly, unless it's been offroad.

How do you find the bonnet protector? is it glued on or screwed on? I wanted to get one, but though it would just collect dirt.

Don't forget the pics Jimo or is it only the bar you're picking up?

Heavymental, the bonnet protector is very simply screwed on.

Does the top chrome strip need to be removed from the bonnet to allow bonnet protector to fit?
