the other day i was picking up some new driving light protectors from the local shop when i was introduced to a new Meguires polish for clear plastics. ( PLASTIC X )
i just cleaned my lights which had become yellowy and old looking and i'm wrapped with the result.

Hi Ken,

Thanks for the post. Luckily my 2006 model has only done a tad over 50k and spends a lot of time under cover so the light covers are still quite clear and clean. I'll keep that in the memory bank for the future.

Cheers,

CJ

Hi guys,
The other option for any on a tight budget is to use "Brasso".
I've used the Meguires product as well, but found "Brasso" works equally as good at a fraction of the price and young guys will probably find their mum already has some in a cupboard...

plastic x works a treat with a orbital buffer - use it on my 99 silvia i try to do it periodically to prevent me having to sand back a layer and polish like i have had to with the silvia ><

My daughters old lancer was pretty bad, used fine wet and dry then Stepptoes fibreglass extra cut polish from BCF (use it on my van). Worked brilliant. Just do small spots at a time repeat a few times where needed.
