Thanks Rob but I was going to use genuine parts rather than knock off parts.

Keep getting a code p0069 +tc lights flash
Check down the throttle body and can see that the valve is choked up. I'm afraid with a lockdown to many short running to work and back I haven't put enough heat into it and the carbon build up

Toyota probably have a "Gasket Kit" as well. never hurts to ask. Dunno if you can order on line with them, but again, just ask.

Just cleaned it out was not as bad as same of the photos that is posted but the tub to the mef filter was blocked so that is what was giving me the code came up. Fitted a blanking plate hope this keeps it clean longer as the catch can on it's only did not do it.

Not sure exactly what you're describing here, but I just wanted to suggest that you be careful "redesigning" the wheel so to speak. Just be careful you don't block off a sensors ability to effectively read the input it's looking for. Blocking off or changing air flow around or near an airflow sensor can cause problems for example.

Blanking plate with 7mm hole keeps the sensor happy if you read back a few pages it's a common fix on the D4D.

Yeah, this thread has 40 pages. I think I missed around 39 of them. :) :) :)

Can someone please tell me what the valve is on the back of my intake manifold against the fire wall? Links directly to the runner control flaps

I don’t know about NZ specifically, but I like Partsouq.com. Browse by exploded diagram, and order directly. If something shows ‘out of stock’ then message them as they may have an alternate part. Even with delivery, it’s around 1/3 the price of local (in Aus).
