SPARE AIR

SPARE AIR

You may or may not have seen this simple item before. I'm all for making life easier.
It's called 'Spare Air' which basically is an extension lead so you can check your spares tyre pressure and inflate/deflate it without crawling under the car.

You could quite easily make it yourself but being basically lazy I bought mine from Super Cheap at Underwood (Brisbane)for $30 and took all of 10 min's to fit. Just screw one end onto your spare then mount the other end somewhere up near the tail gate/bumper...easy, then check the tyre pressure standing up

I took some photos but have no idea how to upload them here, so just click on the below link and it'll take you to my photos. Click on each photo to enlarge. Hope this helps someone.

What a great idea, particularly for our spares wound up under the tub.

Thanks,

Fanatstic idea.

If any of you blokes have kids or have the time yourself I'd be keen on a group buy if someone made up a few of these extensions and sold them.

I probably won't get around to making one and will forget to buy one, so if they were availble from someone here on this forum thats any easy purchase for us lazy/busy members.

Good little project for someone and you could make some pocket money too.

Cheers
Matty

I moved my Spare Air from last vehicle to the current lux, and wouldn't be without it, especially as mine is attached to the underslung tyre.
