Yeah i think you accidently stumbled onto the reset for the timing belt light.

thank truck for that. Works on 05 sr5. I had the seat belt unplugged originally but that aslo stops the auto relock from working and i found my car to always be unlocked. Cheers mate

No to mention the airbag system thinks you are belted into the car with the ignition off

and if someone runs into the parked ute the drivers air bag could go off.

Just remove the instrument cluster and get the Blu tak into the little hole where the nasty sound comes out

Just did this. Worked no drama. Much better for driving around the farm now. :) good tip. A mate turned it off for me years ago and then i had to take it back to toyota for a recall( i think) and the beggars turned it back on again!!!!
I love my ute but not as much as my dashound does!!
I just put a 3 inch exhaust on the ute, now the D4D sounds like a V4!!!

That only works when the timing belt k's are reached and the 'TBelt' is lit up
