Ute alloy tray clean

Ute alloy tray clean

Postby Rhino351 on Sat, 21 May 2016 12:11 +0000

Hi guys, I used a steel brush to clean vermin gum from my tray and it showed it's shiny self and would like the whole tray the same. I'm after the best spray on/ paint on and hose off stuff to make this tray like new? The easier application and process the better.

Get yourself a bolltle of Aluma brite. I think thats how its spelt. Its like an acid wash for alloy. Spray it on, use a broom on a big surface like that to work it everywhere and hose it of. Really good stuff!

Septone Alibrite. Can get from most places like Supercheap, Repco etc. Works even better with a pressure cleaner if ur too lazy for the broom use :D

Before u use any kind of ally cleaner make sure u fully understand how to handle the stuff. And some advice I wouldn't let that stuff anywhere near your vehicle. Remove the tray and do it somewhere safe if u really want to. Be warned it is very toxic gear.
