3.9 diff gear spacers for hilux carrier

I have read alot on the diff gears tpoics but cannot seem to get a diffinative answer on

Can you get 3.9diff gears to fit standard hilux carrier,

I.e can you make a spacer the make up the extra offset you need for the ring gear instead of changing to the prado carrier?
