SR5 sat nav - is there a way of bypassing the caution screen

Postby spacejase on Mon, 10 Feb 2014 7:31 +0000

hello
I've scanned the sat nav manual and looked in this forum - hopefully the answer hasn't been posted before

does anyone know how to bypass the first caution screen when the sat nav first starts and you have the press on I AGREE everytime you start the vehicle?

thanks

Isn't there a check box atthe bottom of the screen? Mine only came up once after doing gps safety mod and hasn't come back since and I'm sure there was a check box

That's a sd card warning.

Some units if you go to the audio screen and turn the car off from there the audio screen will be displayed first. You have to go to the setting an turn off the auto progression from audio to nav

I was told there was by the head service guy; will hit him up next time I am close to the Service centre and see what happens.

Pull it out, apply a sledgehammer three times then pour petrol and light. Sit back with a beer jump online buy a decent headunit and wait for delivery.

I use the School zone and speed warnings. If I start the car while the screen is in audio mode the I AGREE does not show up until I select map view, this means I don't get warnings on most trips

Sometimes if you are driving this happens. Suggest clicking 'I agree' before moving off.
