just 4 bolts on the plastic intercooler cover

i cleaned mine but still have turbo lag .

ERG valve is okay at test scan figures like a brand new one but stuffed if i know

i just had new BDG injectors put into it too but there is something not quite right

If you've already cleaned the SCV and MAF sensors without improvement try replacing them completely

Just need to remove the intercooler shroud (the black plastic cover over the intercooler) as it is located under there

Hey every one I don't no if this is right but I teed my boost gauge in to that line fromr inter cooler to filter

Will attempt this on Monday! 180kms, fingers crossed its filthy and I get some improvement in power and efficiency.
need to beat my mates Navara :lol:
So I shall pick up some MAF cleaner and Carby cleaner over the weekend.

i got onto this on yesterday with some crc cleaner and carby cleaner for the filter, so much black gunk came out! and she a bit more responsive now. noticeable in 1st and 2nd and in 5th on the freeway. definitely the best and easiest tip out there! my shout for the beers haha.

Does anyone know the part number for the genuine toyota map sensor filter i asked a guy at toyota in canberra and he told me that his never heard of a map sensor filter and there wasn't such a thing Lol :lol:

Yeah he was definitely special he didn't even look it up on the computer he just told me that there was no such thing as a map sensor filter :lol: Maybe if I took It out in the car park And Showed Him He might believe Me

Where can you find a mini vacuum filter?

I too asked the Toyota guy for one and he didn't know what I was talking about so I just sprayed mine. Toyota parts sections does seem kinda shit. I also asked for the genuine oil filter and he said i need to give him an item number if I want it ordered in. How am I supposed to know the order number? I'm not sitting at the computer with the Toyota database of parts in front of me. That's his job!
