GPS Mounts

I have a Garmin Nuvi 2797 (7") GPS/Navigator and find it takes up a lot of real estate with the windscreen centre mounting, blocking a view of the LHS corner of the ute. I am looking for a more creative solution to mount this centre & a little below the dash line where the trip computer is. Any creative solutions out there already? Pics & links please?

but I have concerns with both of these relating to the weight of the 7" navigator and what will happen on corrugations & rough tracks.

Mate I run that holdmyphone center mount for the nuvi 3597LMT and its solid.

BIGFOOTJR, do you mean the standard holdmyphone center mount, or the Heavy Duty holdmyphone center mount? The Nuvi 3597 5" is a good size, but the 2797 7" is a really big mother.

I have a 2012 model and it doesn't have a HD mount option, just the standard center mount and its solid with no vibration or knocking it off adjustment. I'd say the 7" would be fine!
