Setting Up Airtank Off ARB Locker Compressor?

Postby Torsion on Mon, 22 Jul 2013 12:53 +0000

Wanting to know best way to set this up,
ARB compressor used for tyre inflation and lockers (rear locker only)
About to install a 15ltr Aluminium tank under rear tray.
Can I tap into the ARB compressor at the tyre inflation side or utilise the open locker port to run into the 15ltr tank.

Anyone know?

Not on the hilux but on a previous prado I just ran the hose to the tank from the spare locker fitting with the same style push in fittings. Spare parts places sell it as truck brake hose I believe. No extra switches or valves.

Could you just tee into one of the fittings? I have F & R locker so no spare fitting.

Yeah definitely. As long as there's enough room around the solenoid. Or could take the silver manifold piece off the compressor and tap a third thread inbetween the other two.
