Winch fitted to xrox -question

Need help and guidance

I'm in the middle of fitting a 12000 lb winch to my xrox - well I've unpacked the winch and dumbfounded on the control box wires being so short so I'm guessing it has to put under the xrox but how then do you get to the plug for the hand remote ??

Or as usual have I got it all wrong

i had to mount the control box on the back of the winch, then remove the plug for the hand controller , extend the wires then there is a hole in the top of the xrox to mount the plug. hope this helps

Mate, grate ideas is that what those little metallic brackets are for

What did you extend the wires with from the control box, would an old trailer loom do.?
