Awesome mod Steve :D If my missus ran 2 of my batteries flat I probably would have put a massive amp in the alarm circuit for leaving your lights on and then hooked it up to a building alarm siren just to ensure it got her attention   . Although your way is provably better for the relationship ;)

I think you can also search for a 30a 12v dpdt relay. Looks like they are more common than the 20 amp and cheaper. Make sure its a worldwide search. Searching item description and title might help also.
Can someone confirm please?

Yeah.. and honestly.. im still running the original 10A in my truck (cause ive been lazy and havent changed it since i first did the mod).. and even with the extra loads of trailers / caravans etc Ive never had a problem.. and im globes all over no LEDs.. but as stated the 'potential' for failure is still there.. so its safer to go 20A+

that one looks smaller.. not bad prices now compared to when i wrote this mod..

I just completed this mod thanks to steve9r.

for those who don't wanna buy a special relay & have 2 regular 5 pin relays kicking around can be wired like such
I taped the 2 relays together.
green plug end to 86 on relay1
green harness end to 87 on relay1.
join both 86 terminals onto 1 wire that taps into the blue red trace ignition wire.
I joined 85 on relay 1 onto 1 of the 87 on relay2.
other 87 on relay2 jumped to85 on relay2 which then connects to black on harness side.
black on plug side goes to 30 on relay2. have tested now to tape up n put together.

No that's Not same as I used. I used a normal 30 amp relay like you would use for driving lights etc.http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/400205422029?nav=SEARCH
