Done the mod yesterday. Works a treat. I have a slimline sub i want to mount behind it (along with tonnes of other things) what is the best way of mounting it? Screwing straight through the back wall or maybe screwing a peice of carpeted ply onto the wall which i can then screw the sub to and anything else i want. That way i wont have 50 screws through the back wall. Any help much appreciated

I think im going to dynamat the rear wall, then a big bit of carpeted ply across the whole wall (covering the vents too i guess). Would look tidier that way. Let me know how you get on, i'm going mine in a couple of months. Cheers

Thats probably the go. I want to do mine next week. Where can you get dynamat? Screwing through the back walls fine isnt it?

The vents are behind the plastic trip that hides your seat belts in the corners. I know this because i pulled the carpet back to check before i screwed the ply on

So it wouldn't matter if i cover them with carpet etc?

Unless you pull the plastic trim off and put carpet behind them then you wont cover the vents. The carpet that is already there (sr5) isnt covering the vents i dont think
