Lately I've had a noise develop in my dsf seat, thinking it was a loose bolt in the assembly somewhere as all mount bolts were tight I pulled the seat apart, applied anti-rattle foam to all contacting surfaces and re-tensioned all bolts, the noise was still there, improved nonetheless but still there. Through a lot of rattle chasing on the dirt road to home I eventually narrowed it down to the seatbelt buckle stop, I removed the buckle and found it had worn through the paint on the stop and was causing the noise, applied some lithium grease and put it back together. It's been quiet for 2000km so far so I'm happy that I've nailed it.
Sometimes it sucks getting passed by a hilux, I don't seem to have that problem though
