Bluetooth audio / disable motion control

Hi guys
Only new here and my first post, so go easy
I've just purchased a 12/2013 4x2 single cab hilux.
It's fitted with the latest bluetooth audio system, all works great but i'd like to know if anyone has been able to successfully disable the motion control/ wire/ sensor so all features of the system are functional at all times. I understand it's a safety feature but my passenger would be able to use this as I drive.
I've read other posts regarding this issue and there's talk of a purple wire/ white trace that can be cut at the back of the unit to enable these functions to work.
I don't know if this is applicable to my (latest) unit.
Any advice would be appreciated

I've done search and nothing is conclusive.

Thanks Andy, will get into it and cut and tape/ earth those wires .
