Does anyone know why there is a recall on the genuine second battery installation. I have fitted an aftermarket tray and battery and would like to know what to look for if there is damage to the car or front guard.

The recall is due to the battery cradle design leading to cracking of the inner mudguard in some cases.

Ok but if there is not a crack in the guard what is the modification to the battery tray?
I have an ARB tray, what can I do to prevent damage ?
