Fitting XROX bar

I’ve searched around but can’t find the info I’m looking for but I’m sure it’s in this forum somewhere.
Can anyone point me in the right direction...I’m new to forums.
I removed the genuine bullbar on my 08 hilux to fit an XROX bar.
It seems I have to remove the current bar mounts too, to allow the XROX mounting brackets. but, they are attached to the chassis by a welded bolt with the nut buried deep into the chassis that I can’t access with a socket/spanner.
Should this bracket be left on? Do I need a special tool or do I cut/drill it off?
