2nd Hand ARB Sprint Canopy - Install

2nd Hand ARB Sprint Canopy - Install

Postby fullynate on Fri, 07 Feb 2020 12:36 +0000

Howdy,

I've gotten my hands on a 2nd hand ARB Sprint Canopy (I know: personal taste, etc, etc, etc). ARB want to charge $300 to install it.
I'm wondering if anyone:
- Has ever done their own Sprint Canopy install?
- Knows how to do it?
- Wants to do another one?

OR

- Knows a good place on the Gold Coast to have it done?

Thanks

Look at it this way:

If buying a brand new one supply and fit from ARB was say $2000 for example, and you bought the second hand one for $500 and ARB want to charge $300 to install, that is still a huge saving.

Surely can't be too hard, it just fits onto the tub. No brain surgery I would think. If they want $300 it's just 2 people 1 hour!

And part of that is running cabling to the battery and into the brake light circuit.

If the vehicle has a towbar it's in the harness.
