Head Lining Removal....

Just had a Front Runner slimline 2 roof rack arrive and about to fit it this weekend, need to drop the head lining down on each side to be able to silicone the captive nut plates to the inside of the gutter rails... My question is has anyone any advise on dropping the head lining? I've worked out that the rear coat hooks and the receivers for the sun visors come out by rotating them anti clockwise a quarter of a turn, but not sure about the pivot part of the sun visor.
