Who out there has either one of these bull bars fitted ?

Can I have your pro's and cons please.

I have the TJM bar on mine and I'm very happy with it.

Looks better than the ARB one as the bars are larger diameter tube IMO

I'd steer clear of the Ironman or Powerful 4x4 bars as they look good from the from but have less structural reinforcing behind the bar.

my ironman commercial bullbar. Most people have the commercial deluxe. I couldn't really find any decent pics online before I bought mine.

Yeah I have a TJM bar, very solid deisgn. I like the big tube as well, winch cradle is mounted directly to the chassis and bullbar is mounted through it. Very well thought out but I didn't enjoy installing it myself haha.

The fitting cost from Tjm is way over the top.

I do like the look of the ironman bar , and the fact that it's a bumper off and full bull bar replacement.

I'm undecided to sell the Tjm bar for the ironman bar or just fork out the ridiculous amount for fitting.

Whatever you do, make sure you get new springs. I lost 50mm (2 inches) in the front after installing the bar. As I understand the ironman steel bar weighs about 60kg. Not sure about the bash plates that it comes with. Maybe 10kg? So approx. 70kg all up? Was surprised that it sagged so much.

Adjustable remote res coil overs [emoji108] already set at 50mm higher
Can go between 2" - 4"

i have the ironman commercial bar and cannot fault it.
Looked at TJM an ARB and in my opinion ironman much better as it is a bumper replacement unit and equivalent in build and quality.

The back has a 2" lift and the front 3.5" but is more like 3" with the bullbar sag (850mm measured bottom of rim to guard, front and back).

Wheels are American Racing ATX chambers 17x9 +18 offset. Tyres are Mickey Thompson ATZ P3, 265/70R17 (32"). I'll probably go 275 or 285 next time depending on clearance at the back.

I'd have to throw a vote in for the TJM bar.
I've got one, it looks great with the larger pipe, comes with rated recovery points and if you wait until Christmas sales they get even cheaper

Never had much respect for ARB after the bar on the last hilux wasn't painted correctly and rusted out.

I've got a Ironman deluxe bar on mine, liked that it replaced the bumper, fitted it myself because I had my own winch, just make sure you have 2 others to help when trying to line it up, can be a pain Without three people.

You might see mine driving around darwin silver SR with alloy canopy and a blue ladder on top most of the time.

Another vote for Ironman from me.
