Yep, plasti dip is great. Going to do the top chrome part above it too but couldn't get it loose.

I think the top trim is held on with double sided tape.

Yep, it's taped on, I dragged a piece of 50lb braid fishing line under it and it came off pretty easy. Just a bugger to clean it all off.

That's the beauty of plasti dip, no need to remove trim to spray it. Mask it roughly and just peel it off the bonnet when you're done.

Thought as much, but there seems to be some plastic fasteners too, but i'll just spray it.
