Im in dalby ( west of toowoomba) its mostly wallabys out here and i just run them down. Get them with the centre of the bar and no issues. The missus work utes ( commodores for some stupid reason) all have ally 5 posters. Locally made big slabs of useless crap. Rhey cant get out of most driveways and the one roo my missus has cleaned up so far bent it back onto the tire.
As said above avoid driving at night and if tou do go to hit one line it up with the strongest part of your bar and stay off the brakes ( to keep the nose up)

I live in the top end , it's not about having the right bullbar and who makes the strongest and so forth. It's about making the right choice of times to drive and staying alert for cattle and buffalo (no matter what bullbar you have those animals will write your car off or at least do some major damage)
We have been on many long trips in the NT some 4x4's with bullbars and some without. We have only ever hit a hawk that hit the windscreen.
If it has tits or wheels ....it'll cost ya money
