TJM T13 Bar with SR

Hey All,

Wondering if anyone on the forum has either installed or seen a new SR with the TJM T13 bar? Talked to the local TJM dealer in town and he said that the T13 bar comes standard with fog lights for all variants. The SR doesn't have fog lights, so I'm wondering how they hook them up.

I would assume that they would use a separate light switch, as there wouldn't be a factory switch or loom anywhere?

When I bought a T13 for my 2009 SR5, it came with a fog light switch, although obviously I didnt need it and i just cut old loom and put the bars fog lights onto that, would just be like wiring up driving lights, but using low beam as trigger into relay insead of high beam

I have an Sr with the tjm bar.

I was charged a little extra for the fog lights and wiring harness. This is hooked up to a switch in the kick panel.

Yeah sweet. Cheers mate. I thought as much. I might look into the new-pro tech switch to give it that factory look after it's been installed.

They one they put in is the same style as newpro but not a blue back light.

How much did you guys pay for the bar fitted?

I haven't fitted mine yet, but have been quoted in the range of $2200. Got another quote for $2800, but that's ridiculous.

Hi all,

Recently got my SR fitted with the T13 bar during the Christmas sale, It saved me $300 on the bar - total cost including fitting was $2225.
Very impressed, looks so much better than the ARB one imo.

The price did not include wiring up the foglights as they wanted an extra $220 to do that which I am more than capable of doing. They supplied the fog lights in the box - which has x2 lights, loom and a switch and instructions.
Given that its all in the box I'm not sure why there's such a fuss and dollars over looms when they're installing them. If in doubt ask them to leave it off and whip out the trusty soldering iron

Haven't wired mine up yet, waiting to get spotties and uhf etc before I start pulling the bar across. I would Imagine the park light wire/headlight wire would be the key.
Have a search around, I'm sure I saw somewhere on here which one it is.
