HI All,

First Post here, driving a Black GD6 with just over 1kkm.
Chose to install roller lid over hard tonneau because of practical reasons - i carry dirt bikes & roller lid suits the duty better. Plenty choice here in KL since were close to Thailand.
Installed RAITON rollers lid as its considered the better one among Thai made. Happy with the quality & installation job. Raiton doesn't seems to have website (or i couldn't find it).
Costed just below (equivalent to)1300AusD.
Added TRD Roll Bar which costed 500.

WIll post few photos once i've figured out how to.

Most definitely have! Mine has been in for repair over 5 times. I've had 2 new locking mechanisms installed, and its still not working.
I picked my car up yesterday after them having it for 2 days, and this morning i had the same issue.
I have asked them for a refund, but they continue to avoid the situation.

The issue has been going on for nearly 6 months without a fix. Seriously pissed off.

Hi all,
My hard lid never worked properly since new. Once you bash it, it works. When it's left alone for 10 minutes it does work. It's not the cables as you can't hear it eve try and unlock. The first visit [10,000km service] to Castle Hill Toyota they said there was nothing wrong with it. On the second [20,000km service] visit I was told the lock was upgraded in November 2016 [I picked my SR5 up in October]. They replaced the lock and it didn't work. On the 3rd visit they replaced the "actuator". Still does't work! Tried to call the person I was dealing with but now he's not available and doesn't return my call.
Has anyone has a resolution to this issue?
Thanks Julian.

Hi, I'm just wondering if any one has had this issued fixed by Toyota. I have had a problem with the latch for two years and just hold the clip on with a zip tie. This works for a while but eventually comes off.

Just wanting to know if Toyota finally have a fix for this?

Thanks.

Open the tailgate
Drop it on top
Crawl inside and mark where you need to drill holes :D

Hi all, just wondering if anyone knows where I can get the harness between the hard lid and cabin, this is the one that runs the central locking and door open sensor. spoke to Toyota and the best price they can do is $180!
