Injectors for a 2006 2KD?

Looking up on the Toyota EPC shows me PN 23670-09060. The newer PN looks to be 23670-39316. Some sites list this as a 1KD injector though. Are the injectors the same between the 1KD and the 2KD? Should I just be ordering the latest version of this PN, or is there a specific "latest" one for the 2006 2KD?
It also looks like Denso is the only decent choice here, is that correct? Nobody making decent replacements? I'm not in Australia, so would ideally be ordering from a North American or UK supplier.

Would probably get more answers if this was in the gen 7 section .

Talk to an injector specialist. Best to get the firm that is fitting them to supply them too.

Unfortunately there aren't any specialist diesel shops, my choices are DIY or the dealership.

Hmmm, not being rude but it is a fairly envolved sort of job with a large scope of little things that need detailed attention.
How much do the dealers want to do the job? Is it as much as replacing the car if you make a simple mistake like not checking the composition of the seat seals your using?
Again not being rude but I can only judge your experience in the field by the fact you have to ask what injector to use.
Appologies if you are experienced in mechanical repairs.
I have qualifications in automotive repairs in a field that at times requires a great deal of attention to detail but injector replacement is not something I would not take on even though I have everything I need to do the job. One small mistake or not noticing a flaw in one new component could cost the engine.
Not telling you not to do it just trying to make you aware of the large risk of disaster present.
Just recently a chap started a thread asking for opinions after removing the injectors to clear oil from the cylinders after a rollover and refitted them with no new seals, then wondered why his sump filled with fuel.
