I have a 2018 Hilux SR 2.8 (don't know exactly the complete version). And I just bought an Ironman Foam Cell Suspension Kit.
I use my truck mostly on paved roads in the city, but at least once in a month I go on some bad dirt roads in the mountains (here in central Chile, roads are pretty rough, rocky and with lots of this little "ripples"). Also I have no front load, and just some ocasional small loads in the backs like baggage, climbing and camping stuff, etc. No heavy constant load

The thing is I feel the new suspencion stiffer than I thought, even in regular paved roads. I noticed they sold me with the kit the TOY065A coil spring, which is 18mm diameter and it has a spring rate of 720 lb/in. Cheking on internet I think is too much for my use.

I know letter A in Ironman springs means the lighter or more confort version, but TOY055 models also suits Hilux, and the TOY055B is 17 mm and 669 lb/in, and TOY055A 16.5mm and 606 lb/in

Which one do you recommend? is it 720 lb/in too much?

What tyre pressure, wheels/rims are you running?

720 isnt too heavy but will notice a difference going to lighter springs. I've give the springs time to settle (assuming they are new) and see how you go. Drop the tyres a couple of PSI in the meantime.

As a comparison the OE coil spring rate is allegedly 660 lbs according to an ARB specification document.
And all OME coil options for Gen 8 are the same 16.5mm 590 lbs (just 4 x different free lengths), I find mine very compliant on rough surfaces and happy with it.

Thanks for the advice! I'm using 265/65R17 at 33 psi now, i just lowered from 35 psi

Yeah, a friend just told me he prefer OME for the same reason...
