Lift kit

Postby Johnsharp1999 on Wed, 17 Mar 2021 2:28 +0000

Hey guys I’ve ordered a 2021 sr5 and I’m starting to look into lift kits, a couple people I have talked to have said you have to upgrade a fair few other things including the control arms and bushes ect, I just wanna know everything that I’m going to need to replace on top on the lift kit I’m buying, I’m leaning towards a bilstein or dobinsons kit, thanks heaps guys

Drive the few hours up to Ingleburn to Ultimate. Leave the car there and catch a train into the city for half a day and it’ll be done, aligned and ready.

x2 for ultimate. bilstein and dobinsons are also excellent brands.

Also do a search here. If you keep it legal, you may not need to do the upper control arms. There is no problem with the bushes.

Also do a search on the front diff drop.
I might be wrong.
