Suspension lean

Have a two inch lift in the lux, have noticed the RH side front & rear sits about 5-10mm higher than the LH side.

Just seeing if everyones lux is the same? I understand the fuel tank is on the LH side and the dual battery also

Pretty normal. We always fit the taller springs on the tank side to counteract this sort of this but sometimes it can't be helped.

Very normal. As toyzx said.
Depending how much you wanna pay trim packers are available from most reputable brands to adjust for any lean. (Depending on breed of vehicle.)

Sounds like a stuff up to me, I've had my lads fit wrong side springs before. Most will have a left and right designation, this is mostly to cope with the road camber here in oz, Check part # 's.

Thanks for the feedback all.

Have checked part numbers on springs, both sides same part numbers and no markings to identify left/right

OME springs are the same both sides except for some very rare ones in the coils where there are vehicle specific sided springs.
Other then that like toyzx we fit tallest of the pair to the heavy weighted side (usually tank side)

I've got new extra heavy springs and there's about 18mm difference front left to front right. Do have longranger tank though.

Fit the taller spring to heavy side (tank side).
After everything is installed and wheel alignment complete give it 500/1000 km to settle in and see how it goes most of the time they settle pretty good

What brand lift did you get?
Ive got a dobinson 2" lift & mine leans to the left as well. Even when the tank is virtually empty.

ARB says it’s normal to have the drivers side up 1cm. It’s to compensate for the weight of the driver.

Mine was up on the drivers side between 10mm & 15mm. This was with an empty fuel tank also & the tank is on the passenger side.

That excuse from arb has got to be bullshit.
So when a passenger gets in the lean is back, fill it up with fuel as well & the lean gets worse.
Just set it up to be level like when it comes from the factory.

Im yet to see one come from the factory level! But whats level? Most makes are out on average 10mm from what I see come thru work and ARB have a 5-10mm tolerance when setting up a vehicle.

Well I'm beat.
The mechanic that installed my dobinson kit measured a 10mm difference at the rear with an empty fuel tank.
I measured 17mm difference at the rear with fuel at 3/4.
Dobinson today measured 5mm difference with a full tank.
Think I'll have to live with it for now, & possibly try a different brand of rear leaf later.

If it was 5mm I'd be extremely happy.
What i was saying was that the lean is noticeable & the measurements i put in my above post prove it. 17mm with 3/4 tank.
What i cant understand is with a full tank dobinson measured it at 5mm. The car must be sitting at different heights all the time.
I think the 17mm i measured it at is the most common lean it settles at. From the rear it looks like I'm running the passenger side tyres at something like 15lb. Even the mechanic that installed it could see the lean.

Thats ok we see it all the time. Had a ute a few months ago and you could measure it, drive it around the block and park it back in the same spot amd it would read different, ya could even park it on the same slad of concrete but 10 feet away and it would measure different again. Mine has a 10-15mm lean depending on the day, it is noticeable but after the mucking around I do with utes, I'm sick of chasing it.

Mines been consistently up on the RHS since new.
