Extending brake lines with a lift ?

Extending brake lines with a lift ?

Postby HBlaz on Fri, 07 Jul 2017 6:22 +0000

Hey everyone.

I was just wondering if any one has had to extend their brake lines when installing a lift kit? either 2 inch or 3 inch lift.

I am in the process of organising a lift, and I am a little concerned about how much slack there will be in the rear brake lines when the rear suspension is doing its job .

Any reputable brake and clutch place should be able to make them up to whatever length you want.

I was told that longer lines weren't needed with my suspension but when I jacked the rear up for full droop, the lines were awful tight, so I extended them.
