Torque specifications for nuts and bolts

Torque specifications for nuts and bolts

Postby HBlaz on Thu, 22 Jun 2017 8:21 +0000

Hey everyone .

Ill be installing my lift kit and uca's soon. Ive been searching for torque specifications so i can torque everything up nicely. Im not a fan of guessing torques, especially when it involves critical components such as suspension and steering.

Ive had no luck searching through the forum for the torque specs of the current model sr5. Cant seem to find anything on google either.

I was wondering if anybody out there has any info that may help me .

Cheers

How carried away do you want to get?

I have always used a table similar to this for most basic applications.

Before I owned a torque wrench though, it was usually "dead tight + a quarter turn", but that's not very accurate.

Kits usually have the torque values included in the instructions, if needed?
