Centre bearing spacer kit N80

Centre bearing spacer kit N80

Postby creaky on Tue, 14 Feb 2017 3:22 +0000

Got a slight vibration at takeoff after a bit of a lift.
Might have to space the centre bearing down a touch.

Anyone done this on the N80 yet ? I haven't had a look yet but is there enough length in the bolt or is a kit needed ? Any kits on the market ?

Cheers

More likely you need caster wedges

Go back to whoever fitted the kit and tell them what its doin, they should be able to fit some caster wedges in it for you. To test the theory try putting a bunch of weight in the back to drop it down and see if it helps. If it does then it need the wedges.

Mine did the same thing. Just pot a 12mm spacer under the center bearing about 250,000km back and worked perfect ever since.
