I run my tyres on 34psi and after 20000k my car has settled down quite well, no where near as rough..

If you fill up the tray with some weight and get some good suspension the ride will be quite soft. Mine is totally different now to what it was when new.

Any updates on this guys? I am in the same boat, test drove a new SR5 N80 and it was woeful... walked away and was fatigued as heck after about 40 mins of driving.

I would be happy to spend 6k on icons if that fixed the problem.

Yes, I would also like some ideas, I'm not planning on carrying heavy loads on the tray as I'll be towing a lot instead so the load capacity can be reduced for comfort.

I have Icons all round and it’s a dream to drive. So smooth and absorbs bumps well. Magic numbers are 35 in the front and 37 in the rear :) . 33 inch All terrains.

I have the OME 2inch lift and its still rough as guts, still got less then 2000km's though, hopefully it sorts itself out. Im considering just swapping out for BP51's, are they that much better?

Better shocks aren’t going to help much if you’ve got uprated springs without any load on the vehicle.

What are your modifications, normal weight carried etc. and what OME springs did you get ?

33psi

Only mods are lift and 275/65R18 on +18 18x9 KMC rims

OME springs are the lightest you can get, 0-200kg.

Handles like a billy cart..

For all off the shelf lift kits the ride will be harsher unloaded than the stock suspension, well any that I have come across. Break in those leaf springs. Load up the back and get off road to get the leaves moving. Ultimately the stock suspension will be softer than the OME though.

Well I confirm I do have a sports car now, had the BP51’s fitted, what a difference!!! Unbelievable, worth every penny... for those that say you will only notice the difference off-road have never driven with them.

Did you do drive much with the oem suspension, or go straight to the OME before swapping to the bp51s ?

Drove with all three.

OEM - shit, rear end felt like it needed a lot of weight in it. Smallest bumps felt harsh
OME - like a pogo stick, again felt like it needed weight in it, a lot of body roll and brake dive. When the 32in tyres went on felt even worse.
OME BP51 - like riding on a cloud, cornering and braking improved, steering input feels more stable like the front end is planted, I drive around like a hoon because it’s just fun and a pleasure to drive, I keep wanting to get back in it.
