Hey scott, any updates on this Dobinsons kit?
Are you happy with it for the coin?
Have the remote reservoirs been ok or are they just a pain?

I got the ultimate 50mm lift put in mine today and all I can say is wow! The front is a bit stiff at this stage as its setup for a bullbar which isn't on yet but the rear is so soft and smooth with heavy duty springs. Way better than my 2008 single cab which had Ultimate Suspension also. It comes with a grease able pin at the front of the rear spring too now which is quite handy.

I'm booked in next Monday for the ultimate suspension kit. Pulling off ARB's old man emu kit so I'm hopeing it's as good as you say it is.

Hi guys, New to the site and I love it. So much knowledge getting around, very helpful. After much debating on what suspension to get for my new Lux I settled for the Monster rides Matrix shocks front and rear with Pedders Tracryder leafs. It was fitted Friday just gone. So far really happy with them, running a 6 on the adjustment, feels good in the rear but might go a bit heavier on the front. Front struts look to be just touching the sway bar, so will have to give Matt at Monster rides a buzz to get some sway bar re-locators sent out. CV's don't look to bad at around 2.5'' lift.

As far as I'm aware. They don't have relocates available yet for the n80 hilux
Unless someone can tell me otherwise?
I know of only tjm at this stage

I went the other way. We tried ultimate on a handful of Utes and got no more than 40,000km out of the shocks, flogged bushes and leaky shocks, not good enough, we have a handful of ome Utes running around with over 200,000km on them, no dramas.

I had Ultimates suspension on my last Hilux and got 120,000kms out of them before I sold it with no dramas.

Had dobbinsons on my old ute, nice ride but front strut failed after 12 months. Put ironman on misses Prado no problems after 2 years. So I went ironman for the new lux. Performance kit with foam shocks saved a few bucks and I reckon there pretty good. Each to their own but for me good ride and good value

Put the Fox 2.5 Remote Res in the front of my 2016 Lux with Fox 2.0 Remote Res in the rears with King Spring Leaves. Running about 845mm from bottom of stock 18" rims to top of guard on the Front and about 10mm higher on the rear. Also put in aftermarket UCA's, diff drop kit and Sway bar relocating blocks. It was install by Brent @ Wizard Performance in Tweed Heads.
It handle un-real, not as soft as the Sway-A-Way's I had on my 08 Hilux but still a better ride then stock when your lugging around ARB bar work. Put some pics up on my Shed for anyone who is interested. Cheers
