Wheels and tyres and offset

Hi all,

My new build is slowly coming along now. I have ordered and am waiting delivery of the Terrain Tamer +40mm set up with smart coils and parabolic leaf springs which I am really looking forward to. I am also waiting for delivery of new stock National Luna DC40 battery box and some bits for my Bushtech canopy.

Next up will be wheels are tyres. I am still stuck between adding some BFG KO2 to my stock 18” factory alloys with an option for a spacer or going for something on a 17” and sticking with my usual BFG KM3. I will either be fitting 265/65/18 or 265/70/18 to the first option or 265/70/70 to the second.

I have had a look on her and online and wanted to ask about wheel offset and clearances / protrusion from the wheel arch. My specification is the Invincible X so I do have the stick on black wheel arch trims which make things a little wider but wanted to sense check from those of you in the know as to what offset I can have? I am happy for the wheels and tyres to align to the arch but not protrude and will obviously need to ensure it all clears my suspension and body mount without any major alterations.

Help!

Have a look at the 32" and 33" threads for the N80 and N70 hilux. Should be any problems with those sizes.

Thanks. I couldn’t really find much on offset though. From what I read I’m not really looking for a 33” so a 32” would be fine. I need to know what offset I need to fit a 265/70/17 or 265/65/18 (same size) without rubbing on a 40mm Terrain Tamer lift. If anyone happens to know what spacer size to fit to an 18” rim to achieve the same effect that would be amazing.

Thanks all

Hello,

I went for a full set of satin black Evo Corse Dakar alloys with 265/70/17 BFG KM3. I’m really pleased with the look and set up as I hate aftermarket alloys normally. These come in a 0 offset so put each wheel 30mm further out than factory which is about perfect.

If you are UK based after a full set of 5 as new factory 22 black invincible X alloys in 18” then let me know!
