Cruiser looks skinny!

Postby Burb122 on Thu, 09 Dec 2021 3:04 +0000

Hi guys, proud new owner of a 2021 SR5 cruiser. I was wondering what offset would be best suggested by you all. I’m in NZ so the law is different/unrestricted aslong as the guards are wider than the rubber.

My 2021 sr5 cruiser looks quite anaemic. Definitely needs more stance. But not a silly amount. Mainly used for towing and hunting trips/access.

They gave the cruiser wider guards and proprietary rims but keep standard factory offset. I’m think +10 would be good.

Any help appreciated.

17x8 p10 rims are a good place to start depending on the look that you want.

Just note that rim width impacts offset. Many running 33in (285 70r17) tyres run what I have suggested.
I might be wrong.
