2016 Alloys on 2013 Hilux

Postby scoter on Sun, 17 Jul 2016 2:46 +0000

HI team,
I've a stock SR (VSC version with the flares) and ready to swap the OEM tyres and while I have been searching for a set of SR5 Alloys from a 2013-2014 model I have been offered a set of 2016 SR5 Alloys (New look Hilux) for a reasonable price. Will these fit, I cant find anywhere where the Offset is mentioned and as the new Luxes do not have flares figured they may be a different offset.
The Overall diameter changes up from a 31.6 Inch tyre to a 32.6 inch tyre between the stock 265-70R17 to the 265-70R18.
This is good news on that front as the Stock speedo is out around 3% so it should in theory correct it :)

Is anyone up to speed with the new Rim offsets as well as the old ones?

Thanks in advance :D

It answers the stud pattern I suppose but its the Offset that needs to be confirmed :)

Sold my 2016 set to a fella with a 2007 dual cab they went straight on, although the centre caps on the front would not clip on due to the centre bearing cap.

Don't you mean stock 265/65/17 for the 2013/14 which I think are 30.6"?

120 series Landcruiser Grande rims are the same offset as the 17's on the 2012-1014 Hilux if you can find some of those. Speedy sell then new as replicas as well which aren't all that expensive. Here is a set on Ebay new $620: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4-X-17-Speed ... SwmtJXTm6G

Here are 2012-13 and 2014-15 respectively for $800 a set:
